Manual therapy

Manual therapy refers to hands-on treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joint disorders. Manual therapy techniques are used to improve limited motion, improve tissue extensibility, induce relaxation, modulate pain, improve movement patterns and reduce soft tissue swelling.

Electrotherapy

- Electrotherapy includes a range of treatments using electric currents to reduce pain, improve circulation, repair tissues, and strengthen muscles. This includes treatments such as transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation (TENS), interferential current (IFT), therapeutic ultrasound, and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).

Neurological rehabilitation programme

Neurological rehabilitation is a programme that is specifically for people with neurological conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or any condition that involves the brain and or nerves of the body. The programme would usually focus on helping the patient achieve independence in daily activities.

Sports injury rehabilitation

Sports injury rehabilitation addresses all conditions and/or injuries sustained during sports or activities. Our goal will be to help rehabilitate the athlete to their pre-injury or optimal condition to manage and prevent further injuries or complications.

Therapeutic exercise programme

- Therapeutic exercise involves movement prescribed to correct impairments, repair muscular and skeletal function and/or maintain a state of well-being. This could include aerobic, resistance, flexibility and neuromotor exercise given by the physiotherapist
